The founder of Action Tool & Machine, Inc. is not of celebrity status. He is, however, a successful businessman, local community activist and an accomplished machinist. Armed with forty years of knowledge and experience in his trade and with the prodding of his closest business associates and friends, Mr. Sanshiro "San" Miyamoto opened Action Tool & Machine on March 1, 1993. Since that date he and his partners, Mr. Douglas R. Lademan and Mr. Jerry L. Davis, have successfully built a company of thirty-seven employees with sales of five million dollars annually.

ATMI is an ISO 9002 registered, full service machine shop specializing in "build-to-print" machining and assembly of components, tooling and fixtures used in pressrooms and on special machines. We service clients who manufacture forgings, special machines, workholding or honing and superfinishing equipment. These customers are members of, or provide products and services to, the automotive, off-road, heavy equipment, aircraft and energy sectors of our economy. The machined components and special assemblies that we provide to our customers can be found in use all over the world.

Action Tool & Machine is a nationally recognized Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and federally registered by the SBA as a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB).

Our 15,000 square foot facility boasts a variety of machining equipment at your service. This equipment is manned by some of the most skilled technicians that our industry has to offer. Couple that with our highly knowledgeable and customer oriented staff and you will find that TEAM ACTION is ready to assist you with all of your special maching and assembly requirements.

Currently, ATMI is carried as first tier and second tier supplier to Caterpillar, General Motors Corporation and DaimlerChrysler Corporation.
